Romy is our firm’s business, commercial, wills and estates solicitor. Romy started working at Brandon and Gullo Lawyers in 2016 after gaining experience at a Brisbane firm. In Brisbane, Romy’s especially enjoyed working for charities and not-for-profits. Romy is a passionate lawyer who can break down the steps of stressful situations for clients in leasing, commercial, business acquisitions and all manner of other general commercial law transactions. She is empathetic and helpful: assisting clients to make their wills, and dealing with the inevitable legal work when clients’ loved ones pass away.
Romy studied law at the University of Queensland. She loves helping people to understand the practical impact the law has on their everyday lives. She is currently the subject co-ordinator and lecturer at Christian Heritage College for their Business Law subject. She also volunteers weekly with the Smith Family as an iTrack mentor to help and encourage students in relation to their post-school plans.
Outside of the office, Romy is obsessed with “brunch” and regularly spends her weekends searching for the next “big breakfast”. She also loves travel: she has hiked Machu Picchu, gone on a safari in Africa, and has holidayed in the Amazon.
